Why This Podcast Matters
In education, early childhood, ABA, and human services, leadership is more than management: it’s relationship, clarity, compassion, and behavioral integrity.
Too often, leaders rise into roles without the mentorship or tools to thrive.
Too often, new and seasoned professionals doubt their ability to influence change.
And too often, people underestimate the power of their daily behaviors.
This podcast exists to change that.
Behaviorally Speaking: Leadership for Change-Makers helps you:
When leaders grow, everyone grows — from staff, to students, to entire organizations.
Dr. Bubb’s mission for this podcast is simple: help people lead well — and live well.

Leadership Before the Title: How Early Career Experiences Build Ethical, Behaviorally Skilled Leaders
Evangelist Dr. Monay Legette began her educational journey at Kenderton K-8 school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a learning support teacher. Dr. Legette remained at Kenderton for 11 years where she became the Special Education Liaison and then the Dean of Students. The Dean of Students position transitioned her to lead at a different school, Hartranft K-8 school, also located in Philadelphia.
Dr. Legette decided to leave the administrative field and go back into teaching to be closer to home with her young growing family. However, this did not last long, within a year she became the director of special education at Bristol Borough school district. This position provided opportunities for her to connect with the Bucks County Intermediate Unity where she obtained a job as a Program Coordinator of St. Katharine Drexel School, a residential facility, which she provided services for 7 years.
Dr. Legette is currently the principal of Samuel Everitt School, a Bucks IU center-based school, where she provides services for high school and transition aged students. Throughout Dr. Legette’s educational journey, she continued her faith journey where she became a licensed evangelist. Dr. Legette’s faith-based background has been the foundation of her leadership beliefs, style, and delivery. Dr. Legette believes that being a leader is not leading from the front but providing guidance from the side and encouragement from behind which will illuminate others’ strengths and give them courage to meet their true potential.
